At least I didn't say Walbro :dunno:

In my mind this is a throwback to the late 80s color schemes that defined that decade, especially the 1988 Wildcat 650 (which my old man had when I was a kid). I didn't really care for it at first either, despite my personal history. But, it has grown on me and I plan to do a custom wrap incorporating the different shades of green when I take delivery.

That I can agree with when they’re meshed together in ways that make sense. It wouldn’t even be that bad if not for the 2 different greens on the windshield/cover and the springs and spindles being different.

They need to bring back carburetors so we can bitch about the calibration of those shitty things

Cupla bored VM 39.2’s on the 858 and I’d betcha that bitch is in the upper 170s out of the box

I could definitely see a modern day male Cat rider sporting that lid on the trail today. For sure....

I'd be surprised if someone didn't try to race in one at Ditchbanger Nationals.

Whoever does the color schemes for cat needs to be fired. I thought the 70 shades of green bullshit was done after 2019 or so. The thing looks awful like that

they should have been firing people from the graphics department instead of engine calibration and engineering.

Purple, orange, black and green is what everyone thinks of when they think arctic cat. Those were the glory days

If I could find a decent deal on the purple people eater, I'd strongly consider buying one.

Hated it when it came out, has grown on my bigly since then.

Edit: There was a set of those purple side panels at Salvage.  Should have bought them.

If I for some reason find myself with a PTS slot on a GT3, purple isn't super high on the list.  A non-metallic green or blue would top of that list.

Usually your PTS cars maintain their upcharge for the paint.  Silver and black are boring and uncreative.

This here is the best looking sled ever built and never had a fire recall.

The ATAC uses medium and Apple. Looks great! Sno Pro is all medium. You all sound like a bunch of old hags, worrying about color. Stupid fucks!

Worrying about color?  If it looks like shit everyone should worry.

Then buy the Sno Pro. One green. Medium. Problem solved.

Track choice sucks on the sno pro

That wasn't the only thing!

I didn’t take any pictures but I went to Snofest in old forge yesterday for the better part of the day. The arctic cat sleds on display were covered in mud and dirt not even so much as wiped down. I know all the reps that were there so I asked them if they’ve ever heard of quick detailer but none seemed to care.

The G8 display unit stopped working and they had to pull a hood off another sled to get it going again because someone tried to connect their phone to it in display mode.

The G8 is a very nice screen if that’s what you’re into the only thing I would add to it is the ability to split screen maps and gauges together. (I’m sure Jim will say something about it being pre production)

The biggest most concerning take away is how dismissive the reps and marketing people are towards consumers wants and needs for a snowmobile. I tried having a serious conversation with them about stiffening up the seat foam in the front and was told there is aftermarket options out there and they hadn’t heard many complaints (LOL). It starts from the bottom and needs to work its way to the higher ups in TRF but that can’t happen if the people talking to consumers aren’t willing to listen to them.

The ZR 9000 RR they had on display was also not even the same color as it is online. Cat needs to get their shit together or let Argo buy them

Maybe they didn't like something about you?

Seat foam is something that every person will have a different opinion of.  They aren't going to go back and switch foams because of what one guy said to them.  Are you that self centered where you think they should?  I can guarantee you some people will think is too soft, some will think it's too firm, some will think it's too skinny, some think too fat, etc etc.  As long as that is the case they're not going to care what one person comes up to them and says about it.

Those people are there to give info to consumers, it's a one way info path.  They don't care what infinite wisdom Joe Blow off the street has to say.  If they want the feedback they'll do surveys and monitor things online.
