Snow hits the flare. Some is deflected into the track, which gets tossed into the tunnel. Some snow hits the top of the track and gets pushed up into said tunnel. Yes, it aids in cooling, beyond what CR? What ever he calls himself. I have left my scratchers down in powder snow, and it caused it to bridge the cooler and began running warm as well. Pro Cross.

scratchers down in powder caused an ice bridge over the cooler now... good Lord

:roflcrying:

the ice bridge in snow issue has been discussed a hundred times as well, but this is the first time I've seen it blamed on scratchers being down.

maybe tunnel flares solve that problem as well... :lol2:

my headlight is aimed too high... tunnel flares

seems to be using too much oil... tunnel flares

the seat is too soft... tunnel flares

getting inside ski lift... tunnel flares

:sarcasm1:

I can't find a link. I recorded it on DVR.

Same here, suspect they won't release video until it plays on another channel tonight.

FYI

SOTY Polaris Assault Boost

Close second some sort of a Lynx

3rd MXZ Competition Package

Do me a favor and punch that useless idiot in the throat for me. My ice bridge formed in less than 5 miles because I forgot to lift them up in about 5-6 inches of fresh snow. Stopped. Put the scratchers up and knocked the snow out and went on my way, with just my flares to help cool the sled. The flares work really well in my case.

Will it help with cooling, if so I know a special Cat supporter who will buy in.

If you replace the coolant with Robitussin you won't need scratchers or tunnel flares, in fact you won't even need to ride on snow.

Based on the past couple of seasons this would be a good reason to switch the coolant:lol2:

5-6" of fresh snow and you needed flares to help cool your sled?  Derp.

AC5 shocks and g8 gauge.  Both also lower coolant temp.
