My 800 etec scared the shit out of me with how little oil it used.

Then you tell me about your cat and I go WTF it uses less...

Supposedly 850’s use a lot more than the 800 etecs

Interesting.

I gotta say though, my 900 sure starts a hell of a lot better in -40 then that etec ever did (it never started at that temp)

Those 800 etecs are about the worst cold starting sled ever made Lol

my 1200 was good. Cat 800 has zero issues with cold starts

Um no. Trailing arm Yammie will turn inside of literally any sled ever made and never even lift a ski.

They were flat but no flatter than the early ZR's.

We had them all back then.   Couple ZR's, EXT's, S and F chassis Doo's and Yammies from the SX to the SRX.  The SX was probably the flattest cornering when compared to the ZR's.   It did rail extremely well.   Cat had a bit of advantage as it could still hook up where the Yammies were shit out of the hole without aftermarket transfer rods which did slightly hurt their cornering on acceleration.

Yeah. Seen that a lot in racing. On grass the Yamaha’s we’re fast. On snow they were the slowest thing going
