It started drifting towards a tree and I kind of panicked and accidentally shut the darn thing off so it was in free fall. I worked on the old 737-100/200 years ago and they are so very reliable that you don't spend much time in the wheelwell. In the old days they had big screens up there to protect the hydraulics in case a wheel exploded after takeoff. Eventually they removed them because there was never a problem with the tires.
