They know that the track is THE FINAL ROTATING COMPONENT OF THE DRIVE TRAIN, and any variation of its circumference alters THE FINAL DRIVE RATIO. Same as putting a big tire/wheel combo on. There is no way that you don't understand this after looking at the track rig video. Come on Frankie. This is super simple. Longer lugs provide additional traction they do not change the drive ratio. A 174" track has a larger circumference than a 121" track. Why doesn't the track with the larger circumference change the drive ratio?
