Incoming tariffs

Trudeau has nothing to lose by taking off the gloves. Trump will take the blame because Trump is the dipshit who has been lying in the trade negotiations.

Trudeau has more to lose by letting that fucktard Trump put tariffs in place without retaliating.

Canadians will be the ones that suffer in a trade war. Trump gets props for "righting the ship" on our trade policy. The ones who don't like it are the ones who have been fucking us.

There are no winners in a trade war, only losers.

Your aluminum industry and the companies and people that buy it aren’t in for happy times ahead.

Trump's tactics are aggressive.  He does love negotiating via the media (Twitter, in particular).

But, FINALLY someone in a leadership position is taking a hard look at our trade imperfections and trying to better our situation at the trade table. We shall see how it unfolds, but NO ONE in private industry that does business with China, for example, would disagree that they've been screwing us for decades.  Time for action was 10+ years ago.......so at least someone is on the case, looking out for OUR interests.

There will be lots of losers on both sides. The only winners will be the people that paid Cohen to get what they wanted.

Most people have realized there is no point in negotiating with a liar.

Funny how you single out Cohen. Go to DC sometime, it's ALL big law firms. You can ring up every single legislator in the history of forever if you apply the same scrutiny equally.

Pretty simple really.

The World:  "The United States just needs to shut the fuck up and keep bending over!"

The US:  "Yeahhhhh....No."

The World:  "fjmsjgjaga.sdjkalkkjsdagajbajkbsdjkba     ajsdjfaskdjgnhkjujtsa/almwoietahad jksdnfgkljajdfkjajsdbhsdlahrevad.kfajpoejfas;dkfjdvb.z,sdmnfaoipewrhts;rugjas.djgabsd.famnsd nf/askdfngbasg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111"

Maybe with China, but the Canada/US trade situation is balanced.  There’s really nothing to discuss

They aren’t great for your aluminum industry though.  Scrap recovery rates will go up as a result and cannibalize raw aluminum production.

The Nooks have been fucking over their own people / workforce by allowing the chink steel to be dumped on their shores , then re branded and sold as a Canadian product , mennwhile , leaving their own workers out in the cold .   Yet we don't hear anything on here or nextdoor from the partisan hacks .

Source more US produced steel to offset higher cost import steel to build their cars for the US market.  This is to help keep the prices of a new BMW down from the high cost import steel if tariffs go through. These tariffs will become a huge win for the US middle class.
