Justice Dept. settles with groups improperly targeted by IRS: “There is no excuse for this conduct.”

From the statement "in many instances, the IRS then requested highly sensitive information from applicants, such as donor information, that was not needed to make a tax-exempt status"

This reminds me of the 900 FBI files the Clinton administration "accidentally" procured and had in the dirty tricks division of the white house.  Who is to say the information is not in the hands of the political opposition of these groups.

The IRS fought the request to produce the documents, arguing the names and other information about the groups were confidential "return information." But the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled in March that the IRS had to produce the lists.

Afterward, the IRS sent NorCal a large number of documents from the period when the alleged targeting was taking place. Based on these documents, it appears that liberal groups' names were added to the lists at later points during the period. One hypothesis the plaintiffs have is that the IRS added the liberal groups "to try to muddy the waters” once the agency realized it was being investigated, Greim said.

Ahhh....yes.  Liberal Fascism=GOOD.  And for the good of us all!!!!  Right?

See, the IRS is like fucking Robin Hood to you tool bags.  They take from the "rich" and give to the "poor".  Not to mention, fund a nice little lifestyle to your rockstars and heroes that chose to serve a life of a modest living in elected office.  :lmao:

The IRS operates on the very fringes of Constitutional law.  And the argument holds water they are on the outside of it on most of their everyday doings.  But, they serve big govenment well!!!!  And so the left says. YEAH!!!!!  Can we get a selfie with our local IRS people?"  Hip Hip...HORRAY!!!!!!

Slinger, you ever get tired of wearing clown make-up?
