Voodoo
There is no plan to reverse it and quite frankly, it's not going to be well received by most voters. 6.2 Trillion spent, 4.4 Trillion of revenue. if you cut your budget by %50 , you would have a 1.3 Trillion to put towards the debt, per year. With todays interest rates that is close to simply covering the interest. The pain will be very real, but necessary. The picture is similar for those in the province of Ontario, if the federal debt is added on. Decades of %25 budget cuttings would be required Edited April 29 by Voodoo

My child, your kids, our grandchildren and great grandchildren are to an extent fucked due to three decades of not paying our bills. If there's anything more daunting that should actually bother the American voters this year than this topic... I don't know what to say. Then again, Main Street is pretty fucking dumb... so let's stick to gas prices, the border and abortions.

Constantly bitching about it on an obscure snowmobile forum is gonna do wonders, too. Face it, the swamp is and always will be the swamp - they don't give a shit about anything other than lining their pockets. And they're not going anywhere no matter what you tell yourself. Tell your kid to embrace your frugal lifestyle and hope for the best. I'll tell mine to work hard, pay their bills, and live their lives to the fullest (and hope for an asteroid to wipe us all out before life gets too difficult).

I tried standing at an intersection and waving a sign back and forth but no one stopped to listen. Just a few thumbs up and a honk or two... so this place will just have to deal with it. Anyway, ours will be just fine. Maybe they'll only have to pay 70% of their income in taxes, but still fine. It's such a big hole at this point I don't forsee us or them digging our way out of it. That's where you're wrong, most people could give 2 shits about our debt because they know it's out of there hands. In most elections Americans care mostly about 1 thing and that's how well their household is doing financially and Joe and the Dumbocunts are failing miserably in that aspect. Bontz
Tell your kid to get the Flux Capacitor created, buy her a DeLorean and you both can travel back to 1998-2000 and make sure Bill Clinton's policies stay intact with a balanced budget. The other option is the impossible, and that's a reset of DC. Think "Designated Survivor"

Be happy you have your own health and prosperity and stop worrying about things you can't control.
