And a good portion of the homeless are happy with their lot in life.

It's not fake humility. I would think someone who worked so close to the military would know  it is an exercise in repetition. Most anyone can be trained to do anything.

I was good at what I did, no doubt. But prestigious... come on man...

The job I had in Germany was much tougher in that I was handed a manual of rules, procedures and requirements and was told to learn it.

I remember when I started I was told 'just don't fuck up what Cpl Whetmore has going here,'.... until I showed the captain just how fucked up Cpl Whetmore had run the place.

It was 10x the accomplishment I ever experienced in instructing.

Wow , that's truly amazing :bc: Thanks for sharing

He wasn’t a firearms instructor in the national guard.

Card is a petroleum supply specialist in the Army Reserve and first enlisted in 2002, according to records provided by the Army on Thursday. He has no combat deployments, according to the records.

I believe they said he was a certified instructor. Once you psss the training you are assigned a "Hotel identifier", hotel being the designator for instructor.

The MOS you carry changes from (for infantry instructor for example) 11B30 for being an infantry sergeant to 11B3H, for instructor.

If he changed MOS to petroleum whatever, his primary would be that with 11B3H being a secondary. Both will show on records.

Not saying this is exactly the case, but does help explain how the difference in reporting could happen.

Really?!

Just trying to bring some knowledge to people who don't know the ins and outs.

Any other firearms instructors from the military are free to add or correct me.

I’m not sure why you think I worked close with the military personnel. I had a fair amount of training in the area of identifying trauma as it relates to vets with prolonged combat exposure among other forms of trauma. I was also involved with salute the troops here in Wisconsin. My experience working with vets was assessment and referral as it related to forensics. I always referred vets seeking assistance with trauma to others with experience in that area.

My interest with ptsd came after I had a good friend take his life. He’d done 3 tours in Afghanistan.  It left me pretty devastated. I didn’t blame myself, but I couldn’t help but think that I could’ve done more. I know today that there really wasn’t anything anyone could do. His final writings drew a pretty clear picture. Had he not killed himself, he probably would’ve ended things like this guy on the run. He didn’t see any other option. I’m not pissed at him anymore. Just sad.

Hey ... I've got a wager for you.  Every time one of us quotes the other one, whoever it is that's doing the quote needs to pay $1 to John.  Tally it up through the week and pay at the end of the week. or month, and John can show the PayPal receipt to confirm payment has been made.

I'm not sure your retirement account can handle it, given your stalking obsessions.  Good luck!! :lolz:

Lewiston......or as the locals refer to as  "the Dirty Lew", or where the majority Somalian population lives.

My nephews brother in law is a cop, who unfortunately has to deal with these Somali scumbags as well. He told me the only way to get their attention while trying to deal with them in a civil manner  is to make sure they understand you are willing to use all the firepower you are carrying. Has there ever been a good Somali found in North America ? Everyone of those Somalis should be packed up and taken half way across the ocean, and dropped off in a rowboat, with only one oar. I have heard they make great shark bait.

That's a bummer. A guy bought the house next to my brother June 1st and mid July he committed suicide. Afghanistan vet with ptsd. Even though he didn't know him long it really bothered my bro.

If the psychotic episodes come and go, once he gets a moment of lucidity, the gravity of what he did has got to be overwhelming.

was thinking the same thing last night.  Reality sets in with even the most abnormal.  If he ain't used to killing, or never's killed before, the moment's gotta come when he realizes "what the fuck have I just done" , and I believe that's when most of these types off themselves and are found tits up.

I know it probably won't mean shit coming from me but, it's kind of like Deja-Vu with yourself and a few others. Remember when you and a few others were getting annoyed with Badger, myself, HSR and a couple others with our stupid pissing matches with each other in different threads????? Deja-Vu with you and a few others with HSR....... Put him on Ignore already, it's the same shit different day and a few different members.......
