Personally I found the LIV golf league to be boring AF. The team shit with goofy names was laughable.

Robin Williams described golf the best!

Did as well I also thought the PGA stance on SA a complete joke.  Most of their largest advertisers do billions in business in SA.   The sister tour the LPGA largest sponsor is ARAMCO.

PGA looked like fools because the monopoly on golf got broken up.

They kicked and screamed and tried to ostracize everything about LiV.

Once in court though the story changed and now it's all nicy nicy.

What a joke

PGA is a rigid monolithic old boys club that needed a good spanking.

They were leaving too much money on the table, and too many of the best players said FU and took the money.

It's like pretty much anything else in this world - money talks.

The former president predicted the merger on Truth Social in July 2022.

“All of those golfers that remain ‘loyal’ to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big ‘thank you’ from PGA officials who are making Millions of Dollars a year,” Trump said. “If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place.”

How about the lower tier guys who gave up the chance for life changing amounts. They wouldn't have gotten 100 mil but 10-20 possibly.

Hideki Matsuyama offer was supposedly somewhat close because of his popularity in Asia.   Now....sorry.

Time for us to pull a bud light, target and chic fil a on the PGA?

Remember, without our dollars they fold.

They are starting up a virtual league with pga backing that will be aired on prime time tv. I am sure those 2 will skim millions off the pga and the pga will look the other way. Watching pro golfers play golden tee doesn’t sound like it will make a very good prime time tv program.
