He also released 5000 members of the taliban. Many that were leadership and lead the assault that followed the US leaving. Biden faced a difficult decision. Either enter into more battlefield engagements with the taliban following the trump deadline, or get the fuck out. The question remains, why didn’t he also order the military to start pulling the billions of dollars of equipment? There is a reason for this. I’m not sure anyone here has yet to figure it out.
