But not badly enough to actually move to Idaho.

The big push is more recent, Portland controls the states policies and most people are tired of it, Portlandia, let the have their own country..

Way easier said than done, cost of staffing and training makes this prohibitive. The simple alternative is in person voting with an ID.

Well Republicans better get with the program and start mailing in as well then.

What about the military?

In reality it wouldn't be that hard, they could have voting places on base check their ID with which state they're voting and count accordingly. No different than voting places turning in their counts.

Adding cost and complexity to solve a problem that didn’t exist just seems so liberal though.

Which the state stated they don't have the staff or the training to properly inspect the ballots. There were multiple recounts.

Well, apparently they do. Anything other than “Trump said” would be helpful to the point your trying to make. They even had time to look into the 2,000 mules claims.

ID has to match, signature has to match. No one can articulate how this type of system could be rampant with mass fraud.

”Upon receipt of each ballot, a registrar or clerk shall write the day and hour of the receipt of the ballot on its envelope. The registrar or clerk shall then compare the identifying information on the oath with the information on file in his or her office, shall compare the signature or mark on the oath with the signature or mark on the absentee elector's voter registration card or the most recent update to such absentee elector's voter registration card and application for absentee ballot or a facsimile of said signature or mark taken from said card or application, and shall, if the information and signature appear to be valid and other identifying information appears to be correct, so certify by signing or initialing his or her name below the voter's oath. Each elector's name so certified shall be listed by the registrar or clerk on the numbered list of absentee voters prepared for his or her precinct.

If the elector has failed to sign the oath, or if the signature does not appear to be valid, or if the elector has failed to furnish required information or information so furnished does not conform with that on file in the registrar's or clerk's office, or if the elector is otherwise found disqualified to vote, the registrar or clerk shall write across the face of the envelope "Rejected,"

This has gotten sidetracked from accusing Trump of demanding they find votes for him, instead of what he actually said that they look into possible  fraud. You copied and pasted what the law requires them to do, but both sides say they don't have the personnel or training to do it. Here's a statement from Stacy Abram's lawsuit. so both sides are saying there is a problem.

The plaintiffs also say election officials aren’t sufficiently trained on canceling an absentee ballot if someone chooses to vote in person instead, which can cause voters to be turned away or forced to cast a provisional ballot.

It seems a lot simpler than the requesting, issuing, and verifying of absentee ballots.

Well now we’re not even talking about fraud, rather someone casting an absentee ballot then wanting to cancel it and vote in person instead. The lawsuit isn’t even about fraud, rather alleged voter suppression.

Ya, I was looking for a quote from earlier, too much reading before I had to go to work. but still both sides say they don't have the staff to do what's required by law, they just state it from different angles.

What?  It was Bill Gates first, then Ralph Baric and now Fauci?  Obviously you are the one being played.

As someone that voted by mail in, how do you propose enforcing proper ID, the checks in place in Minnesota are a joke.

And I have been in Europe for the last 6 elections.  Without a mail in system, how would I vote?
