I think if the people of Canada had fought and died to gain their 'independence', instead of having it 'deemed', you would see a big difference in the progression of this situation.

That's the problem with America now it seems... people forgot the basics...

Fuck no they were not nor will they be . Public school is beond pathetic now . I liyyeraly have zero friends who send there kids to Public shit school from K to 9 any more . To expensive for a lot for HS but about 50 % send them private for HS

Trudeau said if if the emergency act wasn't passed, it would trigger an election. The NDP don't have the money for an election so they went the easy route.
