Jerr2Star
Its been a minute but I have three projects going at the moment, been switching from a 65cc dirtbike rebuild to rebuilding an enclosed sled trailer to working on the white turd (2013 M800) Huge thanks to @fortune46x and ebay forgetting all the parts needed to bring the sled up to par. Fixes to this sled since aquiring it in February of 2023: Removing wrap. Used team primary with BDX springs/weights. Used hood off of a 2014. BDX anti slop kit. Used 2016 mountain spindles. Used 2015 skis. Starter bracket and motor assembly. Relocated air temp sensor. Headlight delete. Trimmed snow flap (after ripping it off in reverse. Tapped stripped recoil bolt holes to M7x1.0. Used recoil assembly. SPI a-arms. Homeade aluminum front bumper. New ski bolts, rubbers, and bushings. LED lightbar with an inline rectifier i made at work with diodes, capacitor and resitor pulled from a UPS circuit board. And a few smaller itms i cant remember. Still a little more to do but its at the point i can ride and finish the other parts later. Edited January 10 by Jerr2Star Mention

krom
If the warmers plug in, they will work, you'll just have 2 off positions on the switch

Palu49
Cat sent me everything but the tunnel protectors, the one thing I needed to ride the sled before the rain came. The toe holds are pretty nice and a lot less chincy than I thought they’d be.

Jerr2Star
Hauled the white turd to the DMV this morning, spent about 45 minutes with them going through the process to get a rebuilt title. First time they have had to deal with a situation like mine where i bought it and am the one filling out the forms for a salvage certificate (previous owner was supposed to do it within 30 days of declaring salvage) then filling out another form to get the rebuild title. Inspected sled vin then had me start it, and for the cost of $35 I'll have the title in two weeks. Glad this nightmare is over!

Jerr2Star
Pulled the 600 Frankenmodsled sled in today, seen I was leaking coolant from the mag side base gasket on Mondays ride. 15 mile ride back to the trailer but temp light never came on and doesn't appear to have lost much coolant.

Jerr2Star
Finished the kitchen renovation so i got back to looking at the 600, found the cause of the coolant leak after removing the mag cylinder. Easy fix and should have it running tonight.

The FMF fiberglass packing deteriorated after 1 season and retained alot of oil in the fibers. 36 minutes ago, krom said: Those aftermarket base gaskets are garbage, I'd rather re-use a factory one Agreed, the fiber gaskets dont compete with the metal ones, this gasket is only 2 seasons old.
