Socialism means that everyone’s life is like Hugging a fluffy bunny that shits dollars so everyone lives for free and doesn’t have to work so you can clearly see that real socialism had never been tried
SkisNH
a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Why would any one risk capital to create anything without the profit motive?

They took on way too much risk but they did not fall like they should have and the taxpayers bailed them out. As far as I'm concerned, Free Market capitalism no longer exists when those cocksuckers needed to be bailed out. Imagine that, the ultimate capitalists actually had to rely on socialism. Interesting that you think that large corporations are capitalist. It's also interesting that you think actual capitalist were for this. We don't know what would of happened without TARP...As a capitalist, I believe the assets would have been transferred via the market...the govt couldn't imagine not bailing them out. Would there have been pain. I assume the recession would have been great, but the books would have actually cleared themselves. Just like the auto bailout, GM would have gone under but the assets would ha e been bought and reallocated to someone else...maybe Tesla would have bought the manufacturing facility.. Lastly I am not a fan of TARP...and I think it was the wrong decision, but the banks "mostly" paid back the money. They were able to kick the can down the road.
