Just another example of a government gone horribly bad.  Reason number one. billion why we should always limit government powers as much as possible.  Which means no socialism.  Anyone who says it's a good idea is either naive, stupid, or evil.

Define subsidies...if you mean carried forward losses.  Blame the tax code. I advocate for flat tax no deductions. BTW 50% of Americans pay no tax or have a negitive tax rate as well....

It seems he pays enough that people are willing to take the jobs right. In fact his minimum wage is 15.00..isn't that what you libs clamor for?? This is the same b.s line they used against Wal-Mart.  The world's largest employer.

Amazon has got billions in economic development subsidies gov. giving huge tax breaks for them to build. Amazon has paid nothing or very little in taxes every year. They pay the employees shit pay and those same employees are relying on gov. welfare to survive. Why are we giving billions in tax breaks to a company that only 1 man is getting filthy rich in all while the rest of his company is costing us tax payers even more money in welfare hand outs. I’m not a “lib” as you claim and I don’t want socialism but the system is broken. I just don’t have the view that one party can do no wrong as some seems to have here.

Revenues to the local treasuries go up not down when those tax breaks are given. Look at the Deal the little Marxist AOC cost NY...Amazon was going to build a huge facility (lots of Construction jobs), Amazon was going to Hire 25k high tech people...The Tax incentives used to entice them to NY would have been more than offset by the economic growth. 

I said nothing about the GOP in any of my statements....The GOP is equally responsible for the crushing debt, taxes, and regulations...Most of the GOP are simply what we used to call Democrats in the 50's and 60's Example JFK is aligned with todays GOP

What happened when GE moved to Boston how did all those tax breaks work out for the city? We shouldn’t be giving billion dollar companies any tax payer subsidies to do anything. They want to expand there business have at it on there dime not ours.

I dont know the numbers, but if the city has a net benefit, why not?  If I were running a city and I could attract a major player that would benefit my community I would. Big Construction Jobs, Big Tech Jobs, The multiplier effect of the employees spending money in my community. Its easy to see the 125 million as lost instead of the 125million as an investment. you have to ask what the ROI is....
