It’s not a good look if your contention is that the words are too big. :dunno:

Abe Lincoln and the Radical Republicans were awesome. Overturning an institution that was hundreds of years old? That’s like if Republicans today voted to legalize all drugs, full stop. That would make them liberal though.

The brain trust here says those are libtards!

You are partially to blame for my transition towards libertarianism

however I really was that way somewhat but never understood how a typical conservative is just an authoritarian like a liberal but just about different issues

for example my view on same sex marriage changed. But not in the legal\illegal paradigm, but why is the government even involved in marriage in the first place. They shouldn’t be.

TL;TD;DR

Anyone who thinks it's the other party that is mostly bad while their party is mostly good, is stupid.

Along with the "both parties are the same" idiots, right?

I made it past that.  I wish I wouldn't have.

Equating abolishing slavery to legalizing drugs is about as bright as the politician who compared the trespassers and other violent felons ( ) on Jan6 to Pearl Harbor.... :handjob:

“Equating”

Its just an observation that some people have far too much deference to “the way things are” and if those people happened to be born 200 years ago, they’d be defending slavery. Uncomfortable thought for you I know.

Yeah, I curse daily at Lincoln freeing the slaves.

Maine was quite established in it's non-slavery role in history.

You'd be the guy telling Harriet Tubman to quit breaking the law.

Almost everything in that video is discussed in the article. In some cases agreeing completely with what is stated in your video.
