The George Floyd memorial is an "autonomous zone" with several blocks controlled by activists. Police don't even go in.

I say leave them be.  All calls to 911 should be forwarded to whatever "leader" they want to handle it internally.

Ya not the kind of example you want to set for the rest of the clowns around the country.

These people need to be made an example out of ASAP. Why has this been allowed to go on for so long?

There is some irony to that speculation.  It is a prime area.  Lakes, parks, and proximity to the stuff city people want.  The area is central between the two down towns and you don't have to live in scrapers.  There is also a bunch of cool old housing stock in the area.  These "protesters" don't realize what they are doing to the future affordability of a good location.  Fancy new buildings will replace the destroyed and devalued junk properties.  The city has been trying to push 4d housing, but it will only be appealing short term for the region.  Owners will use the program to carry them through this crap and cash out. In the end, it is a windfall for the city.  The mess will be cleaned up and big money will move in to replace the riff raff.  These type of protests essentially accelerate the process.

Exactly. I’m very familiar with the area. It’s prime real estate. Case on point is what Hennepin Ave used to be like during the late “70’s and early to mid “80’s.

The metro police union creates and covers for the cause

The police won't go in there, they don't have the resources to even do normal street patrols anymore.  There are 911 calls that go completely unanswered in MPLS.

The metro police union in Minneapolis have covered for and enabled rotten police behavior for decades. Now you’re seeing the results. It costs the citizens lawsuits, property damage, riots, etc. What you’re seeing is cause and effect at work.

The problem is that people who want nothing to to with the "protesters" have homes and businesses within the blockaded area. I mean, it's hard to even call this a protest, it's shenanigans really.

Let's be honest, most of what we've seen these past four have been little more than just "shenanigans" anyway.

I'd have the government round up retards like you and force them to handle it :news:

All they have to do is grant immunity and a lot would be cleaned up in a prompt way.

The police already have immunity, why don't they do it?

You’re a dumbfuck. It’s white faggots that are running it just like the three white lezbos that started BLM.

I pretty much hate you and I don’t hate anyone.

Same was said about the retards in New Orleans while Katrina was bearing down on them.

I concur.

The is a reflexive action as a direct result of trash LEO agencies being allowed to discriminate against persons of color with impunity for too long.

So the police don't answer to the Mayor? City council?

In past years cops could crack the skulls of blacks with impunity. Obviously they still can, but now the price of that unchecked behavior falls on the pocket books of the tax payer and business owner.  If the George Floyd incident wouldn’t have occurred, there would be no autonomous zone.
