Remember when deficits mattered?

Recommended Posts

Are these numbers correct.
even when dealing with the Bush financial melt down Obama added 6.7 trillion to the debt in 8 years. By March of 2020 Trump added 6.6. His Covid fuck up may add another 3.4. Lucky deficits are only an issue when Democrats are at the helm.
Much like American casualties.

Proper accounting  practices only matter when the other team is in office. You are no different, don't pretend you are.

Well I think it matters regardless.  Spending in a pandemic or to stop a recession is acceptable,  Trumps spending his first 3 years was completely out of control.

Yep, Trump was no better than any other Pres in that regard. I don't see Biden doing anything meaningful to curb spending either.

Biden will stop any progress on the border wall but the money will be spread across the swamp.

the border wall was a shiny object for trumpers but i am sure Biden will be sure to reallocate it to something of more quality like changing the names of bases with confederate ties and other very important stuff like that.  got to please the woke crowd

Trump was worse, look at the deficit when he took office and then compare to 01/01/2020, before covid hit.

How many times see you gonna blame both sides on deficits when there’s tangible evidence to the contrary?  How times have we seen massive tax cuts geared towards the corps and wealthy couples with increased spending?

Our national debt and the deficit has been steadily growing under every congress & presidency for decades. Both Republicans and Democrats are responsible for this.

The deficit was on it’s way down under Obama after dealing with the Republican recession. Bill Clinton had a couple of balanced budgets before Bush shit the bed. Trump took over a good economy and his deficits were the worst before Covid hit.

Speaking of spending. About 20 of these bright lights talked big about a $100.00 bet. At the end of the day one of them stepped up. Has he sent $100.00 to you yet?
