Not sure how anyone can conclusively say how they were able to narrow it down to one women eating one bat unless she keeled over right there on the spot after eating it and it somehow immediately went into the air infecting most/all of the remaining patrons. Not sure....our last Governor( Christie) postponed Halloween for a couple weeks the year that super storm Sandy hit...that was a reasonable decision with massive power outages and trees down all over. I guess if they try to cancel Halloween this year due to covid, people could still defy the order but there will probably be a lot of porch lights off with residents not participating. I don't remember except everyone was pretty much on board very voluntarily. It was a disaster around here at the time......getting from point A to point B took some serious planning with all the detours and roads closed. Local leaders and communities tried to cancel all the car shows and cruises, the people still come out in droves. We all need to march from house to house in peaceful protests. The sad part of this post is you believe someone tied to Trump is making up the numbers. It’s a fact that in order for covid to be comparable to. The spanish flu 300 million would have to have died of covid. Covid is actually less deadly than the seasonal flu when you look at how many die verse the number who test positive.
