Couple drinks at Beerthirty and a guy brought over some 50's and 60's car parts from a neighbor of his free for the taking.  The premo parts were early 60's 327 vette exhaust manifolds

Pup is growing

Yes she is. She is a smart little girl that seems to pick things up quick.  As a bonus she doesn't mind her crate at all. She even hangs out in there during the day and takes an occasional nap in there. When she goes in at night she is quiet until around sun up the next morning.

Action has slowed way down at my backyard feeder. In the last 2 weeks only the big guy and a doe have stopped by. The big guy comes every other day though.

This is the first time alcohol has been available for sale in convenience stores in Ontario.

Starting today, all licensed convenience stores in Ontario can sell beer, cider, wine and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages, marking the largest expansion of consumer choice and convenience in provincial alcohol sales since the end of prohibition almost 100 years ago. As of September 5, 4,187 convenience stores across Ontario are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, in addition to nearly 3,000 other licensed retail outlets as well as takeaway options from licensed bars and restaurants.

I've got a friend who lives near Wainfleet Ontario(Long Beach) I've personally gone with him to get alcohol many times to a convience store there to get alcohol. Believe it was called Avondale or something along those lines. :dunno:

There are some licensed LCBO/Beer Store retailers in rural areas but not in developed areas.

The grocery stores were allowed to start selling beer and wine a few years ago.

The provincial government had to cut a deal with The Beer Store to get beer into convenience stores. It cost them $225mil. Lots of restrictions in the deal.

Oh ya. You get used to it. Always a shock when I go to Florida and see 30 packs for under $20.

How many volts? I got an old 36 volt one that I used quite often at my old place but not so much here.    And these damn batteries are expensive but last quite a long time or is that one gas?

Nice...not even sure what year my Club car is.   Had to finally buy new batteries this fall after at least 8 years old .  But I cheaped out and got Costco batteries that aren't worth a shit....weak on power, drain quickly and take a long time to charge .  They have a year warranty, so I think I will return them before that is up.   Still cost around $130 each for 6 batteries.   If I ever get a new cart....gas will be the way to go I think.   But I do like the silence of the electric, at least for a golf cart.

Let me guess here... the battery cost about a water cooler bottles worth of change?
