I've said all along (before this Corona bs), the worst thing that could possibly happen for the dems would be to win a tight race with a lame duck candidate. The economy was bound to contract eventually, and they would own that, and would be forced to watch trump tweet about how good it was under him forever. Better off to roll the dice that it fully implodes under him so he owns it 100%, even if they have to hand him 4 more years to do it.
