I really like it.  Unless your love spreading false information about the time, place, or location that people are to vote in an attempt to suppress voting or don't think social media giants that want to have all the freedoms of other journalistic entities but none of the responsibilities then all I see is needless panic.

The whole party is full of fascist imbeciles.

Yes, this seems like It could really morph into great things.  I think Goebbels would probably think so also.

“.....hold social media platforms accountable for disinformation......allowing the government to penalize services that host disinformation.”

All the government (well, the party in power or the ones wanting power) needs to do is decide which “disinformation” will be allowed, and which “disinformation” will be penalized.

”disinformation” = Ideas/opinions/differing viewpoints/criticism.

Needs to be kept in the civil courts.....not criminal courts.

And just whom decides whats disinformation enough to bring criminal charges?   No chance at politics coming into those decisions.

It’s pretty easy to determine things that are patently false, ie:  You can vote via text by texting blah blah to blah blah.  That’s simply not currently true.  Civil forfeitures aren’t enough to deter as the truly evil just consider it the cost of doing business.

Come on you know it wouldn't come down to just the obvious ones.   It would go much, much further.

Who decides?  Well, the same people that will decide if you are mentally stable enough to own a fire arm.  Who better to decide this than the government of course!

“Everybody who wants to own a fire arm is mentally unstable.”

It all makes sense.

Yep, govt needs to decide everything in our lives.  That's what people who support the dems obviously think.

Here the best part.   They will say well some people need that "control" over their lives without thinking of the overall consequences on their own lives.  Funny thing is I agree some people probably would benefit from more govt control over their lives however the overall implications for everyone are far more damaging than the benefit to those that need it.

I agree.  Some people can’t manage their basic day to day lives and would benefit from strict laws that made than adhere to smarter practices.

But really, that’s not what the left is pushing....they want to punish those that can manage their lives and succeed in a “if I can’t have it, nobody can” scenario.  But remember, all these “laws” will be “for the greater good”.  More atrocities toward human rights have been sold under that phrase than any other.  See: “Socialism”.

Yeah, yeah...everything is a slippery slope.  Gun registration is a slippery slope to communism, gay marriage is a slippery slope to beastiality marriage, etc.

How about criminal penalties when your a lie about your ethnicity to get ahead.

Ooof!  Imagine somebody in her crowd asking her that on camera.  You’d only see that on Fox though.....and that’s the truth.

Wonder why Bidens name came up when they were talking about corruption?

Show me where someone who used misinformation to get ahead in life gets the gaul to call out misinformation?
