November 25, 2019 - Maybe The temps have been above freezing the past week with some rain that melted most of the lower. The good news we have a storm moving in Wednesday! Heavy snow is expected for all of the U.P. but rain for the lower. I expect there will be some decent early season conditions in most of the U.P. for the opener this Sunday Wetlands will not be frozen but the trails in higher elevations, mostly in the northern snow belts will be decent. I expect limited grooming because of the wet areas but with 12-18 inches expected we should be able to get some good miles in next week. Keep your fingers crossed and I'll keep you informed. Wait for the trails to open, till then have fun, be safe, and I'll see you on the trail. DMG That's when the private land leases start and the funds for grooming get released. December 1st thru March 31st.

Most cases he could take half of his storm "totals" and be more accurate. Snow depth is very hard to predict.
Barfy
Seems to take the best, "snow case", scenario, I get it though. I still check his forecasts daily.

teamgreen02
NWS is historically pretty accurate once they start publishing snow totals.
