No different than Wynnebag saying she is "aware of" or "understands what Ontarians are dealing with".

That would be like the time Trudope said he understands the immigrant challenges because his grandfather was immigrated from Scotland back in 1908.

Yes I know the age of consent is 16, but she was still a minor.   Just like a teacher or others with positions of authority over minors he should have been fired once the investigation was completed.  Harper asked him to step aside until it was investigated, that was all he really could have done.  JT says it's none of my business once the results are in, weak.

Robby has nothing to do with this.

Checking the Criminal Code & since the girl was 16, he beats a 'sexual interference' charge.

This guy is a disgrace.

What smug arrogant asshole. I hope he's pleased w/ himself.

Doesn't resemble the 'open & transparent' government that he pledged during the election campaign. I wonder what's on his playlist? One Direction, Maroon 5, A Tribe Called Red (don't want to leave out our indigenous artists)?

Checking the CERAWeek photo gallery and no pics of our beloved PM

https://ceraweek.com/event-gallery/

https://ceraweek.com/speakers/

I wonder what the big cheeses of Exxon, Hess, Duke Energy & ConocoPhillips... thought of while he babbled on (if they were in fact present)? Probably exchanging texts w/ their spouses about their weekend plans.

A pile of speakers from IHS Markit

https://ihsmarkit.com/

However out of 480 speakers, JT is the sole head of state from any country present. Some officials/ministers from other oil producing countries. Maybe the other PMs & presidents had better things to do & sent a flunky or 2 instead?

Yes better things to do like reviewing and make changes to fiscal policy to adapt to current market conditions.

Harper did not ask him to step aside, all this guy did was stand as an independent  I heard zero from you on this when it happened.  Now its a big deal.

And she was 3 days before 18 years old apparently - unethical as I said but according to you personal life has zero weight in your business life.  we all heard that for 4 years straight

Here again your ONEWAY anger is directed at JT and not the senator or Harper - the only person here that had nothing to do with it is JT

Never heard about it until now, however I believe in innocence until proven guilty.  Now the dirt came out, so its up to your spineless hero to say something other than 'not my problemo'.

You mean the problems he refuses to admit are problems and the questions about it he won't answer. So much for open and transparent that he promised.

Oh, so if something from a previous gov't comes up, the current PM can just say, "It didn't happen on my watch." & sweep it away?

He was too busy to answer the question because he was listening to Drake's latest on his headphones.

Meanwhile in Edmonton...

IMG_2124.JPG

If someone put that up in my neighbourhood I would make sure I had a dog(s) and encourage all of my neighbours without dogs to get one or more. It won't be long until we see an adoption of this kind of BS as law in Canada. Dogs are good for the soul and ones health. That's why you see dogs going into hospitals and retirement homes.. Great for blood pressure.

Meanwhile in Montreal you see a developer wanting to build a Muslim only community. He says non-Muslims are welcome but they must abide by Muslim values

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/montreal-brossard-muslim-development-nabil-warda-1.3853435

At least they aren't getting approval to build it.... yet....

Thank you Trudope Sr. and Jr.

You mentioned service dogs. It's amazing the number of places and people who don't understand the laws around service dogs. One of the programmers I used to work with is blind and has a service dog. I couldn't believe some of what he experienced. Him and his wife going out to dinner was rarely unchallenged by either the owners of the restaurants or other people in the restaurant.

We went to lunch together fairly often and his yellow lab Huey would just lay under the table at his feet and you would never know he was there.

We miss our Golden...

Reminds me of an asshat years ago. About 15 years ago leaving the Oshawa Centre near a youngish couple (late teens/early 20s) when this fellow enters thru the doors w/ a black lab that had the 'harness' & his little red vest on. This old codger starts yelling @ the fellow, "You can't bring a dog in here, blah blah blah..." Well before I had a chance to lose it on the old f*ck, the young couple go off on him (good on them).

I'm pretty sure seeing eye/service dogs have been around since I was a kid. I guess the idgit hadn't got the memo. I've seen service dogs @ restaurants too, Better behaved than some people's kids, but that a whole different story LOL.

When will it end?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-4325838/Canada-gives-120-mn-famine-hit-Africa-Yemen.html

I remember as a kid in the 70s, the drought in the Sahel region:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahel_drought

The video nowadays looks just the same as back then except that it's in colour rather than black & white.

If we let them die then kunta kinte would not build a fire and carbon would be reduced.

Has been like this for centuries. Our money will not end it, a good percentage will just end up in some one else's bank account.

I was thinking of that when I saw the item, but forgot to mention it. Escalade sales will be up in Cadillac's African sales region.
