"Mr Trudeau's walk-out is deeply embarrassing for Canada's Trade Minister Franois-Philippe Champagne, who has agreed to the deal."

I wonder how Champagne is explaining this to his counterparts?

short list of deals 02sled has no clue about but will bash starting today

The European Parliament approved the agreement on 15 February 2017;

The Latvian parliament, the Saeima, ratified the agreement on 23 February 2017.

The Canadian Parliament's bill on CETA, Bill C-30, received Royal Assent on 16 May 2017. The Canadian government had indicated that the agreement would be ratified on or before 1 July 2017,however dispute with the EU regarding details of implementation has delayed the ratification date. After rounds of extensive discussions, the two sides announced that CETA will be provisionally applied in 21 September 2017, nearly three months later than the anticipated date of implementation.

The Danish parliament, the Folketing, ratified the agreement on 1 June 2017.

The Spanish parliament, the Cortes Generales, ratified the agreement on 29 June 2017.

The Croatian parliament, the Sabor, ratified the agreement on 30 June 2017.

The Portugese parliament, the Assembleia da República, ratified the agreement on 20 September 2017

more to come NAFTA and agreement with China - sunny ways

I wonder where Latvia and Croatia rate in importance with our international trade?

Dont forget the Paris Climate accord.

we can never meet our objectives so JT will buy billions in carbon credits to say we did.

Where do Carbon credits come from?

Are there countries that far below their limit?

or is their limit inflated so they can sell?

Can Wynne sell JT carbon credits?

I dont think any country has met any limits set on pollution

This isn't a trade deal but this deal has been signed by all countries (that matter) except USA -  I would say the world is on board with this matter.

zero carbon by 2050 isn't possible

They are right up there for sure....

Exports  $ 13.4 billion (2014 est.)
Export goods                 foodstuffs, wood and wood products, metals, machinery and equipment, textiles
Main export partners Lithuania 17.7% Russia 14.7% Estonia 11.2% Germany 6.6% Poland 6.2% Sweden 5.1% UK 4.7% (2014 est.)

Canada doesn't really need a lot of Latvian foodstuffs, wood and wood products, metals, machinery and equipment or textiles.

Canada doesn't even make the list for Latvia's main export partners. We are below the UK which is 4.7%

Pretty much the same for Croatia

Exports $12.41 billion (2016 est.)
Export goods               transport equipment, machinery, textiles, chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels
Main export partners  Italy 13.4% Slovenia 12.5% Germany 11.4% Bosnia and Herzegovina 9.9% Austria 6.6%

Kind of shows Trudope to be a loose canon doesn't it. The Trade Minister was caught by surprise and had agreed to the deal.... something like when Trudope out of the blue announced that the provinces had until 2018 to implement carbon credits or he would do it for them catching his own Minister of Environment and the rest of his cabinet totally by surprise. What's he do... have something come to him in a dream and then wake up and do it.

:nuts2:You keep getting smacked down and are stupid enough to keep getting up. You continue to prove you don't read a damn thing or you read it and just don't understand it. Just where do you get $26B in Canadian exports to Croatia and Latvia from.... Fail fails again.... read Fail read.... those are the exports FROM Croatia and Latvia... NOT WHAT CANADA EXPORTS TO THEM. Canada isn't even listed as one of their top trading partners....

What's the matter.... a little bit of work getting in the way of your actually reading and comprehending what is written.
