100% inheritance tax in everything over 100 million.

like they won't just divest  traceable assets early on .

my uber rich friends keep more wealth  on there fucking walls than most here have in total assets.  that is not even taking in to a count the rare guns and jewels and books and pens . the list is very long of non traceable assets one can accumulate . unless you are going to change your stance on warrantless searches it is a lost battle

No I simply understand the differences and similarities between c and s corps and the taxes behind owning parts of them.  Yes there are some taxes on hedge fund income I'd like see adjusted but I can show you with IRS data that the extremely wealthy still pay the highest tax rates.

Ah no....government is their puppets.

Maybe for a few of the .01%.  The rest of them will do what they can to preserve their assets including moving them offshore at the mere threat of such a plan.  All I’m saying is confiscating a billionaires money so they’re only a millionaire will never work.  Oh and suck it Frenchy.

Do you think Jeff Bezos is gonna hang around and pay $9b in taxes?

$9 billion a year in extra taxes.

In 2018 Amazon paid $2 billion in income taxes of which 16% would have went to Bezos.  In other words on Amazon alone not counting any compensation taxed, he paid the govt. $320 million in taxes thru Amazon.

It was mentioned already but, the richest Americans have already started and/or made plans to protect their wealth under Obama.  Should any of these fruitcakes come to power.  America’s richest, their money, and their companies will vanish.  The market will crash. That will most likely leave us in the next depression and an impending civil war.  Anteefer had better start boning-up on their skilz!

Are you a little retarded?  Serious question.

Or, are you seriously talking about seizure and persecution?  Which would actually answer the first question.

I'm talking about people quit being partisan fucking hacks and start demanding some sensible policy here.

According to all of the beat offs here if you don't like things the way things are now you are a big govt tax loving liberal socialist. We are supposed to be a free market free republic, that is hardly the case.

So a wealth tax is the answer?

You are example #1. I didn't say that but I'm sure our $22 trillion debt and $1 trillion + deficit will fix itself when the neocons get around to cutting your taxes enough. :bc:

I don't support current military spending.

I want us out of all bases around the world unless they pay us completely to be there and even then it should be rare cases only.

I'd love to cut spending but a POTUS cannot do it alone and you know that.

Mandatory spending is about 60% of the budget.   Good luck getting anything done there and getting re-elected.

Until the majority of the public gets behind across the board reductions in spending its absolutely worthless talking about it.

Well sounds like you are more of the problem than the solution. :bc:

  You have to fight the battles you know you have a chance to win.   The American public is consumed with spending.   That's not my fault.

Honestly at this point there is very few candidates from either side really willing to attack spending.   Maybe someday but until then I'll continue to choose candidates that I agree with on the most issues instead of pouting on a website thinking some angel will get voted in to accomplish something the public isn't ready for.   I vote for the lesser of 2 evils and right now as far as spending/govt control/loss of freedom goes that has never been more clear on which side is worse.
