Rip2 is a good track. I like it and the cobra about equally.

Never had the Cobra, but this is my 3rd sled with the RS2. Love this track

This will be my 6th sled with these studs and backers (3rd with the RS2). They are awesome.

Just curious...why did you stay with a 1.25?

Cheaper, less rotating mass, cheaper studs.  I'm 95-98% on trail.  Thought about it, and that's why I didn't see the point in going with the 1.50

I think a 1.5 is an excellent track.  But, you need to have skis up front to cover it also.

My god.  Do any of your body garments plug in or take batteries?  You dress and carry appropriate layers I'll bet.  I bet the ass on your extra heavy, cold weather bibs are worn out too.  :lol:

Oh I know it is.  The one one my Renegade is a 1.50".  But it's not what I need for a 129" that's going to spend the majority of it's time in trail.

:lmao:

My Freeride went an honest 100 with a 1.75.  Its a great track with low rolling resistance for a deeper lug track, and will ride circles around a trail track when the snow gets deep.  Thats why Im putting one on my turbo

So your freeride would hit 108 speedo?

I'm gonna call bullshit on that

Freeride came geared 23/45 with the 137 x1.75 track.

At 1:1 shift and 8k rpms that's 88.75mph

No fucking way that sled pulled that 1.75 track very far into overdrive on snow.

I'd say best case maybe low 90s mph

Woolie = :owned:

BUT MY TOP SPEED RECAL SAID 107 DERP

 :lol:
