Oh.  Yeah, I’ve got a slight reddish hue from the amsoil.  Bleach works for that too....but the process is a bit more “involved”.  That’s what off seasons are for though.

Well , I don't have either of those sleds anymore. But if by cleaning the inside involved sticking your hand and forearm inside the tank to clean, the Rev tank would be impossible.  And the ZX would be very limited to what you could reach with a long pair of needle nose pliers.  The Doo filler necks are way smaller than Cat's.

I ran Interceptor in both of those sleds. The ZX tank still yellowed from the inside because of fuel.  Same with Paul's ProX. It was nice to be able to look down and see how much fuel you had left rather than the stupid float gauge and that shirt one that's on the Gen1 Rev's.

Race sleds don’t have fuel gauges but I could work with a black tank for sure.

For your sled

Full = gonna be out soon

Half = almost out, better start looking for fuel

1/8 = full on sweating bullets, are we almost there?, half throttle or less.

Barely visible = tow rope at the ready, siphon in hand, 1/4 throttle max, does anyone have extra gas?

They're nice for the first season. Look like shit when they start turning yellow tho :flush:

Only way to keep then clear is to let them sit 100% empty when not in use.

My mom and my MIL always give me $ for Christmas because they never know what to get me. They tell me just easier to give me $ so I can buy myself what I want/need.   My Christmas gifts "from them" were delivered about 45 minutes ago.

I'll be painting the windshield Satin Black tomorrow or Saturday since it's supposed to be almost 50° here.

You need a real wind shield. Those posers are tough when it’s below zero.

I wear a TekVest under my jacket.   I'm sweating 90% of the time if I'm wearing anything more than a t-shirt under it

Your trophy sled is almost complete! Then you can put it in a museum!
