What are you so afraid of. Its a simple question. You are nearing retirement. What will your budget be.

The average American (and Canadian) likely has less than 25K in total savings.  How does that look for retirement?

Take your income and take 2/3 of it and have a plan to get there.

How many times does slinger need to see this before he comprehends.

i was looking for a number. so if the average american income is $60K, that means $40K a year. that equates to $110 a day.  far less than what you spend per day.

thanks for playin.................

Come on slinger. What are you planning for a daily spend in retirement. Whats the number. You have to have this figured out already.

He doesnt...only way to explain his attitude.

He would have some reality if he did.

if you can't spend less than $200 a day in retirement, and have a few hundred grand left when you die, you are a poor peasant!

like i said, you are nowhere near reality....

You dont know when you will die. If at any point in your retirement years you are down to $100k you are fucking broke.

There’s reality, and then there’s tom. Die with several hundred grand in the bank? Spending $200 a day in retirement? Not everyone made the coin you did in the oil business. Not everyone buys all kinds of toys, jet sets around to concerts, traves all over the world. Not saying none of that is deserved, it’s just not typical. I also wouldn’t call anyone who has/does less “paupers”.

poor AC. my point was plain as day....

Why wont you add up every single thing you spend and tell us its not $200 per day.

Add it up. What is your number.

Now you're deflecting, stay on track short stack, the argument is about what the average person spends during retirement and your perception is far from reality.

What is your planned retirement spend per day.
