XC.Morrison
You might try Lysol toilet bowl cleaner in the black bottle that says it works on rust. In my experience it REALLY does work on rust, though never tried it on a boat.
Platinum Contributing Member Skidooski Posted June 29, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted June 29, 2018 A coworker gave me this tip a while back, use The Works toilet cleaner to get rust stains out. Toilet, tub, sink etc just be careful around chrome or shinny finishes on metal it will dull it. We are on a well here. I just tried it on the one Sea Doo with a white hull and it got everything off. Snoslinger
a related question - has anyone had their boat "wrapped", in lieu of a paint job?

Slinger I use iron out at the camp because of heavy iron in my well water. It does a decent job on the stains in the tub, sinks, and toilet bowl. Zambroski
If you don't have anything you need to perform basic maintenance at your home (typical librul), try some toothpaste on it. Works like rubbing compound.

My work semi trailers are wrapped. 3 years in and the cracking and top UV layer is starting to peel in a few little places. If you kept it covered that would help immensely. As soon as you spray it on the rust is gone. Worked way better for me then CLR, Iron out etc.
