That’s cool. A market solution in which mega employers find unique ways to cut healthcare costs and pass their success onto the rest of us.

Yep.   Meant to post this earlier.

Great idea. Someone needs to take on these health care networks and pharmaceutical companies. They are in the business of making their bank accounts healthier, not their customers.

Thankfully Capitalism has given Mr Bezos and Mr Buffet great opportunities and now via the free market they have chosen to give back.

Ain't it grand? :bc:

These guys know sick wage slaves aren't productive so it's probably more cost effective to keep them healthy.

And 'free of the constraints of profit' isn't exactly capitalism...

These 3 guys together have over 800,000 employees. Whatever they come up with will be rolled out to them. Hopefully it works and can be a significant step in the right direction.

Just like Henry Ford knew that paying his people enough so that they could afford a car would help his business in the end.

Well, it was enabled by Capitalism. It doesn't happen in a Communist country unless it's at the end of a barrel. :news:

Marx said socialism would be enabled by capitalism.

They will make a killing off this by reducing their healthcare costs. We just get to benefit. Thank you Amazon and friends. Capitalism operating at an ethical level? Close enough for me ☺️.

It’s called self insuring. Not a new idea.
