Trump in trouble in Florida poll

Source: Politico

Donald Trump is in trouble in Florida, a state that’s crucial to his reelection hopes.

Just 40 percent of Florida voters said they believed the president should be reelected, while 53 percent were opposed to a second term, according to a new Bendixen & Amandi International poll.

Trump’s approval ratings were also poor, with 43 percent having a favorable impression of Trump, and 52 percent viewing him unfavorably — and 46 percent very unfavorably. Trump’s approval ratings look even worse when compared with the man he helped make Florida governor, Ron DeSantis, who has a 50 percent approval rating while only 23 percent disapprove.

“Trump is in trouble,” pollster Fernand Amandi said, noting that 23 percent of all Florida Republicans said he doesn’t deserve reelection. “When that many people from your own party don’t support you, it means you have to spend more time consolidating your base.”

But Democrats who want to defeat Trump have hurdles of their own. The president's job rating remains stable with nearly 90 percent of Republicans approving of his job. And a majority of Americans remain confident in the economy, believing that there won’t be a recession in the next year.

602 interviews with registered Florida voters likely to participate in the 2020 General Election, with an oversample of 300 registered Democrats.

That's just the beginning of this poll's hilarious methodology.

   Jesus MC do you look into anything you post?   Just what exactly do you think the results would be with 300 registered Republicans sampled?

The lib media tried really hard to bury trump last time with their biased polls and they’re at it again...big surprise.

Some more interesting results from the poll.   I'd say Trump is looking damn good in Florida.

5% of those polled didn't recognize the name of the Florida gov Ron DeSantis.

40% of Hispanic's and 15% of AA's had a favorable opinion of Donald Trump.

43% of Spanish speaking had a favorable opinion of Trump.  Same as English speaking.

14% of AA's and 32% of Hispanics thinks he should be re-elected.  Considering Trump only got 8% and 28% respectively in 2016 says something.

21% of those polled consider themselves Conservative while 32% consider themselves liberal.   State demographics says the population has well more that consider themselves conservative.

56% polled were women.  29% polled were AA while they are only 12.3% of the population.
