Yep, nothing says high-speed adrenaline adventure like snowshoes and x-country skis....

Who says that I don't have anything to enjoy it with? For all you know I could own cross-country skis - or snow shoes.

Everything was booked when we were looking. Lucky to get 2 rooms at last minute. Not much open in way of trails in the south and they all headed up here. The guys next to us are from Niagara and others are from Picton area.

Is one of the guys last name, Handley? I know a few from that area but if anyone is going to travel to snow, it is him.

I hear yah.  My son has a week off after the 29 and local trail won't be ready so might as well.  Would not make it into a habit.

I agree with Used to skidoo.

While I like this snowmobiling, I also like Motorcycling.  If I'm going to drive 8-10 hours, or more, its going to be south to ride bikes , not north to ride sleds.

I would rather fly to Revelstoke, or if I was Dave, just drive.

I'd fly.  Plus we would usually hit Mexico.

To far to drive to Mexico for a weekend...flying would ve been easier i agree...but we were in our teens and not that organized....it was always spur of the moment.
