you're going off topic. do some gun laws help prevent some murders? yes or no please.

I'm not going off topic and honestly that is up for debate.   Why do cities with much tougher gun laws have much higher murder rates?

 why are you scared to answer that question?

to answer yours - a host of reasons. I'd bet those rates would be even higher with more and easier gun availability.

You have been given facts and statistics and you still won't believe it.  I think your little mind just can't grasp it.

some of this coming from people who are OK with people on terror watch lists being able to buy guns

you dolts should take a serious look at yourselves.

If they are US citizens why shouldn't they be able to?  You shouldn't lose your rights without illegal actions.   If a terrorist was convicted of certain crimes they lose their rights.   Would you be OK for the govt to list Antifa as a terrorist organization then go around taking guns from anyone remotely affiliated with them even though they committed no crimes?

How about we make it illegal to view Radical Islamic materials like we do child pornography?   Then we can charge anyone caught doing that and take their rights away.

I even quoted Morning Joe on one of them, figured that might open their eyes if one of their own told them the truth..SMH

that mean absolutely nothing but you're too dumb to figure it out. you see a cute little chart that show crimes going down, and gun sales up, so you think more guns = less crimes

the sad part is you're not alone with this stupidity.

Again the statistics across America disagree with you.  You have this false assumption that its easier to walk into a store and buy a gun (even with no gun laws) than it would be to pick one up off the streets.  Plenty of crime is committed by people capable of buying guns legally that do not and get them in an illegal manner.

The main gun law I'd suggest might have some impact is the traceability.  They buy illegal firearms because they can't be traced back to them.

I don't have a problem with a firearm database however I'd prefer it operated by a private entity and the govt goes to them to find out whom it was sold to when it was used in a crime.   Not the govt knowing everyone who owns one.

hey racer, drunk driving deaths are down, yet alcohol sales are up. does more alcohol equate to less drunk driving deaths? or is something else going on?

people are drinking more at home?? I drink at home, rarely out and about maybe a beer or 2. Also being a ccw holder, a dwi would cost me the permit..

   What a moronic comparison.

Does the alcohol kill or the person who drove intoxicated?

So if the guy drove his car into the crowd of people and had the same outcome...should we get rid of cars?

Criminals don’t care about gun laws. You could make 100 new laws, they don’t work. Look at Chicago and other places that have tough gun laws. This is the point that slinger is missing.

well I guess that depends on your definition of "work". if it's stop all gun crimes, you are absolutely correct. if it's to lower some of the crimes, then I disagree. are you OK with the ban of automatic weapons? if so, why?
