I'll be fine. It's just a shock after all of this well above normal temps we've been having all fall. Hell, it was almost 60F here today with complete cloud cover.

Geez id trade ya.

I'm a weather geek and love the extremes. But by this time of year we should have already had our first snow of the season. Not this year

Snowing here, temp dropping fast. Calling for 6" of lake effect over night. Got the snow tires on, snow blower is working good. Suppose to drop to -11c by morning. That's 10F.

Good thing I'm not driving to work tomorrow, the first snow fall of the season and there will be a lot of amateurs on the road for sure.

The NWS is forecasting 1-3 inches of snow here tonight/tomorrow. Temps are supposed to be be in the upper teens tomorrow with wind chill values around 0.

2 degrees here.  A light coating last night.  Still about a foot of standing snow.  Been cold all week and I've got about 3" of pond ice.  Local weather folks are predicting a great winter here.  I'm tending to believe them.  Trails open Dec 1 and for the first time in 3 years, I think they will be groomable and rideable.  Ususally, any riding before Christmas here is a "win".  Having to wait until Mid Jan is a "lose".

We're lookin' good in Northern Minny!!

I'm going to stay inside tomorrow. Too cold too early. I've got to get used to it slowly.

Might as well paint your nails and shave your legs while your at it....

Feels more like mid January than it does mid November. Temps have hovered in the mid teens all day with a brisk NW wind making for wind chill values in the single digits.

Short video of a snow shower this afternoon.
