Most stock modern 800s have trouble with the old F7 on the lake.

Yes you're correct, I have a hard time turning my head that far around to see where they are.

Who is still running around on an f7 other than kids with backpacks and deep lug tracks these days anyhow.

It is the track angle that gets them. If you lower the skid the new sled could probably do better.

Throw 6" of fresh snow in front of them and the f7 is toast.

By lakes you must mean shaved glare ice????

No we don't get much snow anymore and to be honest not much ice in the last couple. Mostly the lake gets like a two inch crust. A pretty fast surface. Again just trail sleds not drag crap.

Threads about the catalyst but it seems we are talking about the last impressive 2 stroke Cat ever built.

I think the problem is Cat has always brought new ideas to the market and if they were to go out we would get 10 years of BNG out of the other two .

In the old days Cat wouldn't have released a 600 when 650's are out. Unfortunately them days are gone and the fact is, Cat is done, it's just a matter of time now.

Fuck you are stupid. They have the 858 plus a little surprise for the short in the pants, 600 is to small for them. The 600 cat will eat the pussy 650 poo.

None of these NA 850’s will beat a CFR 800

heck the turbo ones will likely still lose top end

When a top of the line new sled is within a few hundred dollars of a new Subaru AWD it won’t be long before all the manufacturers go away.

The top of the lines, which are usually in shorter supply, will always sell because someone has to have it. The bread and butter are the sleds that sell between 10-15k. Those are what keep the manufacturers alive. BTW, do you drive a Forester?

Yes I’ve done this. Also the width of the truck just as much as the angle

The new 850s would crush a cfr 800 in 1000’. The cfr would be coming fast though.
