And it's good to hear some of you guys are actually using your tables for what they're designed for. I think mine's been under the cover for close to a decade now, and the kid has clothes and other shit laying on it ... basically collecting dust as some sort of storage table. Glue stain on the felt in on corner etc etc. I’ll have to redo two of the rails and he cut a corner a little short and it doesn’t tuck into the pocket right but I think I can stretch it and make it work. I definitely could have saved myself $400 and done a much better job. I’ve shot 4-5 racks or something and the cushions play right now and the 860 is awesome cloth. He’s a top player in the area , won quite a few regional tournament at casinos etc. We’ve discussed him having done quite a bit of table work and I assumed he was as picky as I am. I guess not. This isn’t a typical bar box and the cushions have to be covered like a Diamond table. They have a feather strip and need to be wrapped and stapled on the rail. Also this simonis cloth doesn’t stretch easily so you really need to have a good technique. Still if he wasn’t confident he shouldnt have offered to do it . Just sent him this message…. Hey man , I'm not going to go into the quality of the work you did on my table. It's pointless. I already took table apart and started pulling the felt last night. Between you cutting one of the end rails so short that the edge is exposed in the pocket and the giant glue stain in the middle of another corner pocket I have to replace this felt entirely.
