Not Russian Military. Numbers are all over the board on this but I don't think Russia has had nearly as many killed as people on here wish they did. The numbers people are claiming are on WW2 levels for some of the years of that conflict. This war has not been anywhere near that large. Its not even a comparison. Total soldiers killed in the western front of WW2 has been reported to be about 500K. To think that this war that many have been killed in a much shorter timeframe is laughable. That was facing the 5 largest army in the world. Russia has yet to take down the capital city of Ukraine despite one gigantic effort that ended in misery for them. Russian war plan in Ukraine is the same as it’s always been through modern history. Throw enough people at the war with no regard to their safety or adequate support. Russia has lost almost all there best personnel. It will take them a decade to recover. It’ll take them 5-8 years to replace what they’ve lost in armor and ammo.
