The fact that the Russians are even still fighting there is a complete mystery as it is of little or no strategic value. It would seem the only value of the battle is for PR for the Wagner group boss. If this is some kind of great Russian victory then what does a loss look like? Nothing has really changed with the Russian military. Instead of tactics and good equipment, they’ll just keep throwing poorly trained bodies at the problem. They did it with the Nazis during WWII and they’re doing it in Ukraine. Estimated Russian losses will be 500k to a million dead Russians before this is over. There’s so much hate over all things russian in Ukraine, the Russians will be dying for the next ten years there. The latest is Wagner’s top commander just defected to Norway.
