2023 Polaris Indy VR1 Boost 850 Turbo

Mod potential is all that matters with a 4s turbo. Why buy one that isn’t any more powerful than a 2s and deal with all the weight?

My 900T weighs the same as my 1200 Blizzard it replaced so no weight penalty there and it weighs significantly less than the winder.  If you don't believe the 900T is as fast or faster than the 850's go look at some of the shootout numbers.  But again, I could give two shits about max performance, modding and lake racing.

As for benefits of 4S vs. 2S the list is a long one for me.  Big one is no early forced trade-in due to miles.  Any 2S takes a dive after 5K miles, don't care which brand it is.  Wouldn't personally own a Poo 2S out of warranty or over 5K.

For the T maybe but you can add quite a bit for the R

Oh I didn't see where R was mentioned.

:bc:

Carry on.

It’s an anemic motor that has all of the penalties of a turbo 4 stroke and none of the benefits. Leave it to skidoo to put a heavy 4 stroke turbo in a sled that won’t even run with a stock winder when fully modified at a cost of your warranty and thousands in aftermarket parts. Pathetic

The 1200 was such an amazing motor , the 900 is the exact opposite.

900 was never meant to compete with the 998.

Way more 900s on the trails than 998s, and there's a shitload of 998s here.

900 is just a better package overall.

900r sure was advertised to compete with and and it sure as hell doesn’t

I see more 998’s than turbo doos here

So on a real dyno 210-215 and still not on trail pump fuel. I'd call this a massive failure in attempt to make a point

Nobody was trail riding a 230hp 900 ace, end of story.
