Fossil fuels are cheap you say???

https://ctexaminer.com/2022/11/03/eversource-customers-to-see-40-price-hike-for-electricity-20-for-gas/

Because New England is largely powered by natural gas plants, electricity costs closely follow the market price of gas.

Nolan said Thursday that it’s likely that increases in Connecticut and Massachusetts will be similar to the company’s rate increase in New Hampshire – where rates more than doubled on Aug. 1, from 10.669 cents per kilowatt hour to 22.566 cents per kilowatt hour.

In Connecticut, the standard Eversource rate is now 12.05 cents per kilowatt hour. So an average residential electric customer using 700 kilowatt-hours of electricity every month would see their bill increase from about $177 to $247 – about 40 percent.

Part of the agenda .

Ive had 3 Solar panel salesman come to my CT neighborhood in the past 2 weeks .

Their main selling point is "well rates are going to go up"

They are scaring/forcing people into Green energy now by raising rates.

Thanks Democrats.

What’s the synopsis as 1.5 hours is 1.5 hours too much of that guy?

Michael Moore isn't in the film fwiw and personally I can't stand him.  The film has been bashed by climate activists and big-$ smear campaigns... which is why it's worth a look if you'd care to invest your time.  But yeah, make it through the first ten minutes and you'll get used to his voice.

No thanks.  Don’t really care much for listening to Moore or his type or concern myself with climate activist thoughts.

Your take on it would be fine and well enough for me.

which part of Moore isn't in the movie at all isn't you brain absorbing?

a simple 'no thanks' would have sufficed

no, but 'sustainable energy' also has a very high cost.

You must've had your subscription to the gay porn channel finally expire if you're feeling compelled to watch some Michael Moore bullshit

actually, someone from HCS CE posted it and annoyed me enough about it to finally watch it... surprisingly it's very anti-green energy if you can believe it.

Moore only produced it... which was shocking based on his track record.

So anti green…. What’s the big deal?

now Eversource rates.  700 kwh a month cost $247.  A relatively small array that is rather inexpensive will produce that much with ease monthly and it appears eversource offers net metering.  $247 a month the pay back becomes just a couple years at those rates.

It's actually not Michael Moore bullshit. Moore, as most know, was a big advocate/pro-climate change, global warming god to many until he had his eyes opened. Not a big fan either but that changed when I seen this film and thought at least he was willing to listen instead of just ignore the real truth behind green energy scam.

This film exposes the lies bigtime and shows the only thing green about the green energy movement is the green those spewing the lies are putting in their pockets.

Well worth the watch, and like I said, at least Moore was willing to listen and look himself, and that is why he decided to fund (produce) this film to show others, who, like him, have been lied to since the beginning.

In fact, utility-scale solar and wind farms need ten times as much space per unit of power as plants powered by coal and natural gas. Including the land used to produce and transport the fossil fuels.2 Wind turbines are often placed half a mile apart, while large solar farms span thousands of acres...:ashamed:

I don’t really talk much on Utility scale.  Never really have. Power companies like Eversource still charge you large amounts for a kwh on utility scale power plants of any type.  Doesnt take much of an array to produce 700 kwh a month.
