Watching the Netflix Documentary…holy shit show.😳

Total shit show and the death of Woodstock. The 25 year anniversary was much better except for the weather

I watched that the other day myself.

I was a Freshman in HS and I remember a bunch of my friends older brothers and sisters had gone. Total shit show but that was everything back then lol

My brother was at 94 and 99. From what I can recall, he got out of there on Saturday at 99.

From the looks of it that was a good move.😜

I was at the 94 show...we had an amazing time despite the weather.

I went with 3 others...the girl i was dating and we each brought a friend. I had a really nice north face tent that I planned on using with my girlfriend.  She didn't want to stick her girlfriend in a tent with my buddy so they came up with the idea to bring a 6 person cabin tent...sounds great right...

Well this tent had been set up outside for 2 summers for her little sister to use as a play house in the back yard. The nylon was destroyed by the sun and the moment the downpours started the thing leaked like hell. We literally had a river running through the tent.

94 was 15 minutes from me. i rode my bike down, left it with a friend that lives there. walked right in. got to see spin doctors, bob dylan, porno for pyros, and left after the chili peppers. muddy fucking mess. i skipped 99 . mike lang was local. we serviced his impala ss. quiet and soft spoken . i even broke in that car once when he locked the keys in it. that series on netflix was pretty good. really shows how bad the promotors fucked that up. lucky it wasn't worse

The Bethel Woods Center is a really nice venue for concerts, hope to buy season tickets for next year. I was 11 years old when the original Woodstock took place, some of my older brother's friends went and lots of people traveled through our town headed there, route 6 runs right through it about 50 miles from the site.

He seemed OK but oblivious to what was happening inside the venue. That other guy…Scher I think it is…seems like a real douchebag. Lang passed away 4 months after his interview for the show.

Yeah,  the same thing we said after watching.  What a dick that guy was.

I don’t think we will see anything like that again.

Kids so wasted they drive a box van into the Rave after likely raping the under age girl found naked in the back is pretty fucked up. Just one of the many stories like that though. Funny, I don't remember any of it hitting the news back then

The kids doing mud slides in shit infested water though

The staff said they had to sign NDA’s and that’s exactly what my wife said to me about none of that being reported in 99.

I didn’t hear about any of the kids who signed up for security, with no training , having to attend counseling for ptsd either. The horrors they saw that day!
Drinking and sliding around in poop.

94 was funny. " no entry without ticket, no coolers, no this, no that " . they bonked folks for tickets, as most felt they wouldn't be able to get in. didn't take long , my buddy called me and said holy shit, the walls are down. come on down! i turned on the tv and it was a special report, showed the walls down and a guy dragging a huge cooler. i drove past every day back and forth to work, saw them painting all that peace and love shit on the walls. plywood walls not gonna hold back these savages. it was dark when the chili peppers ended and i got out . place was piss mud everywhere , but folks looked to be going wild. my dad was laughing, he lived near the thruway. people were leaving their cars and walking through the woods and on to the back road. they start walking, my dad asks where they are going , "woodstock man!" . my dad said " not that fucking way your not, it's that way" .
