There are a few and I'm sure the kids wouldn't starve without them. Also kids that don't need them also eat. One of the volunteers explained it to me. "If a kid is hungry, we feed them. It doesn't matter why. A kid that isn't hungry can learn more so whether their parents can afford it or not we feed the kid. If we were to tell one kid that he can't eat because his parents can afford to feed him, it will end up harming the kid whose parents are too poor to feed him. " In the end I believe volunteers. I don't care if the parents spend money on crack instead of feeding their kids. It's not the kids fault. It really doesn't cost that much to feed a kid. I'd prefer crackheads would get abortions or not even get pregnant in the first place. But that's another think you Republican fuck heads can't figure out. For the most part we are far more open about all forms of birth control in Canada. We have more welfare programs as many of you who call us socialists know. Funny thing is, as much as Republicans think welfare makes young people decide to have kids, Canada has half the teen pregnancy rate as the US. While you dipshits are running around trying to de-fund planned parenthood. While you elect a VP who wants to ban abortion. While you Republicans cheered on Palin for her views for claiming abstinence was the best policy.......... We provided birth control, sex education and had adult conversations with our teenagers. Congratulation on having double Canada's teen pregnancy rate America AMERICA FUCK YA! literally. Thanks for all of that. Looks like we agree on quite a few things. SmeeAgain
There are no restrictions on the food banks in my area. My son got a detention the other day for looking on his phone during class. I was talking to the principal about it and she said it's rare that a kid doesn't have a smartphone. Maybe they should prioritize their spending a little if they can't afford to eat. Edited March 17, 2017 by SmeeAgain typo

Sounds like you should buckle down and cancel that Netflix subscription.

Hmmmm......that's a pretty big stretch dude. Even for you. And this may help your case but does on even get chemo if they don't have health insurance? And I've always advocated smoking it, not using it orally in a concentrated form.

Never seen a smartphone plan that cheap.. Just saying...

That's simply nonsense. This is the result of more bleeding heart welfare. Many have had enough of people not pulling their weight in this country - that's why Trump is our president. motonoggin
When average worker pay has gone up 5-6% and your boss' wage has gone up 937%, it's time to stop blaming the poor and minorities for the situation.
