Sea ice surrounding the Antarctic continent dipped to near-record low extent in late May and remained close to a record low through mid-month, setting a new record low starting on June 20. Sea ice growth was slower than average, particularly for the Bellingshausen and eastern Weddell seas (Figure 4).

Maybe try not answering like a fucking asshole - to an honest question

Do you need help as well on when ice growth starts on the Southern Polar cap as well and what the seasons are in the Southern Hemisphere?

When is winter in Antarctica retard?

Oh, sorry, I didnt know Antarctica isn't effected by the seasons, you know the currents in the ocean from warmer areas.. And I'm the retard??

Record low ice extents for the start of winter on Polar caps really triggers some.

While we're talking Antarctica, how about we talk about the Arctic circle too   :dunno:

It’s in the link as well.  But here it is in a picture.

Is Antarctic sea ice increasing?

Image result for record sea ice growth
From the start of satellite observations in 1979 to 2014, total Antarctic sea ice increased by about 1 percent per decade. Whether the increase was a sign of meaningful change is uncertain because ice extents vary considerably from year to year around Antarctica.

I have no clue on either polar cap. All the climate freaks put out Bullshit data half the time - so it's too much time to sift thru.

First sentence of the link seems to trigger a few.  Especially the bolded part

“Both of Earth’s polar regions had low sea ice extent for the month of June, with Antarctic sea ice setting a record low.”

Antarctica in recent years has Sea Ice that substantively extends into the melt season and the Ice thickness is in excess of a Metre. Most of the Bases NOW have major logistical problems of supply because the Ice “does NOT retreat” as in past years and being “of greater thickness” the Icebreakers cannot penetrate such a thickness. Currently, there is a review by some Countries as to the possible relocation of Antarctic Bases and most Countries plan to acquire larger Icebreaker Ships.
. .
It is common across many sites, to play down the magnitude of Cooling. The “Ship of Fools” AGW expedition to prove Melt / Warming agenda ; shows how Science has also become too Political…

Yeah, lets take a representative sample of sea ice thickness in the summer. That will show the deniers!!
