Heard a rumor cat is actively reading ramstads posts on here and based off his positive sentiments they have made the decision to not release any 2023s and instead will keep building 2022s

  • We all know you are a fucking moron, but that isn't exhaust, it isn't even from the exhaust side of the sled FFS... Since you are painfully stupid, I will tell you that is the clutch side panel,

Go back a few pages, I listed all the 600/650/800/850 from the big two and has been brands prices on Saturday

Thanks. I see the info you put up. Embarrassing for textron. I thought they'd still have some kind of snowmaggedon pricing. At least before they had a pricing advantage. Now you get old tech and pay more. Maybe you all knew that and I'm late in figuring that out.

With kids at home I've been buying a 600 every few years to keep the costs down but still have a newer machine to hopefully avoid headaches. You'd really have blinders on to order a cat at these prices.

So 2020 zr 800 limited was $11,500. 2023 basically same thing - $15,500.

And now there's nothing "base" available.

The sno pro 600 was $10K in 2020, which is enough suspension for anyone buying a 600. Now you're at $14,500 to get into a 600.

Are the other 2 brands going up like this too?

Yes they are, or have been.  My '21 VR1 (850) was $14.5K before tax and license ... OTD it was $15,750.  That was the cost of my '22 XCR 650, OTD!!  The '23 XC (850) that I have on order is going to be right around $17.5K OTD (with the 7s, e-start, and tunnel protectors).

Pricing is ridiculous ... I keep telling myself to smarten up and stop buying new, but here I am doing it again.

AOL dial up... it's booting up like their gauge

Should be taking a 'mandatory break' in 15 minutes, then lunch.

On vacation. We get lots of it due to how much overt time we work in the summer. Use it as Comp time.

Though you said everything was sold out...

AC still hasn't sold a single sled

There has to be some kind of armageddon pricing. How do they expect customers to pay full retail for the same sled as last year.

Same for every brand out there. I had people laugh at me for saying that prices would rise between 15 and 20% US. Guess who was right and who was wrong?

And the graphics aren't even bold.  Only thing bold is textrons attitude that they think they are still relevant in the snowmobile market.

Did I miss the RXC?

Don't see it on the '23 web site?

It's in the trail section

You missed the turn.;)

Were you coming through the Root Cellar trail or off the lake in Bergland?  Either way, 102 is one long trek at that time by yourself.  You are lucky it wasn't heavy LES snow that night.  The north mid section on the rerouted 102 produces some of the heaviest bands you will see in that region.  I've been on that trail during a couple doozy snow events.  Would not have seen a wolf unless it hopped on for a ride.  It's a cool trail, but I bet it really seemed long running solo that time of night.

A week later North Country Snowmobile Club head groomer Mike O ran into a wolf between White Pine and Greenland when he was out grooming by your logic it must be someone's pet then.O.o That night it was very light snow and I did run into the North Country groomer "Mac" but he was at the end of S Boundary Rd and Hwy 107 but I never stop him. I did meet up with Mike O that night for a few at Koneka. And no I was not coming from the Root Cellar I was coming from Bay Bar. The take away, shit happens and make the best of it.

Site cool guy said they will be mostly sold out but not surprised you missed that. Sniffing ammonia can do that over the life of a janitor.

What's weird is they are selling the kids sleds out in hours while making them for doo. If parts are limited why not just make green ones?

So if I'm reading this correctly based upon pricing, later than normal ordering time frames and a very limited model lineup is that they don't plan to produce very many 2023 adult sized snowmobiles.  They've already factored in the Yamaha orders as well due to their much earlier launch.  Maximized profits on lower unit sales.  Not completely stupid, not completely intelligent.  BRP and Polaris (likely) already have better purchasing power from mutually shared vendors which does put them even further into the back seat moving forward though.  If/when they finally launch anything new it's also going to have to be limited untill the supply side is capable and they can produce enough orders to creep back up the vendors priority list.  This should have taken place two or three years ago.

As an observation...
