We spend a lot of time disking dirt/clay clumps and pulling make shift atv drags in plowed corn fields so we don't need 18inchs just to cover the clumps

We either send a tractor through with a disc or send the groomer with the drag to knock down the lumps. It gets the trail open earlier but its often a struggle to get them all done before frost sets in. Sometimes it doesn't work out.

Sometimes it doesn't work out. we have more of a problem with combine ruts due to all the heavy rains we have had this year and it's too wet to try to level them hopefully once we get some cold air and some snow we can flatten the ruts out with the groomer. most farms in our area disc and spread a cover crop but too wet this year
