Thanks Rich!! Hopefully we will get some and we can check those trails out!

We need to get Capt Hazelwood to join us when he gets done with his buggery on the high seas

Lucky you they don't turn the corn fields after harvest in your parts ?

We spend a lot of time disking dirt/clay  clumps and pulling make shift atv drags in plowed corn fields so we don't need 18inchs just to cover the clumps

at most they might disc and spread a cover crop, most farmers have stalk choppers on the corn heads so it's not bad, no till is popular around here

They plow every cornfield here too. We either send a tractor through with a disc or send the groomer with the drag to knock down the lumps.

It gets the trail open earlier but its often a struggle to get them all done before frost sets in. Sometimes it doesn't work out.

we have more of a problem with combine ruts due to all the heavy rains we have had this year and it's too wet to try to level them hopefully once we get some cold air and some snow we can flatten the ruts out with the groomer. most farms in our area disc and spread a cover crop but too wet this year
