I went through this BS with my son about 4 years ago.  He was following a twitter handle called proudsocialist or something like that, whining about how Amazon and Bezos shouldn't be allowed to get so rich and make money and on and on and on.  I told him, that stupid phone you have in your hand, and the people telling you rich people are bad, aren't going to give you one red cent.  NOTHING.  Get off that damn phone and do what the successful people did if you want it, go make something of yourself, you have the same opportunity they did!

Guess what, 4 years later, he's finished his school, paid off ALL of his student load debt, has a really good job making decent coin, and is on a much better trajectory financially than I was at his age.  He's gotten smarter from working harder, and has ZERO debt.  And guess what, I didn't, and neither did anyone else give him one red cent.  He EARNED what he has by working his ass off, and has gotten smarter while doing it.

Oh, and he's HAPPY and has quit whining about other people's successes.

thank god my sons not a raging lib in college.  TBH shocked with his political stance he hasn't gotten into trouble there.

They didn't work a thousand times harder than a millionaire. They also had the benefit of winning the lucky sperm lottery and were born to fairly well off parents that helped them.

You don't get to a billion dollars by working hard, you get there by legal theft

Wrong.  you get there by inventing a better mouse trap and doing so within the confines of the law and tax policy.  Policy that supposed to be designed to incentivize innovation.  I’m not against raising taxes on billionaires but you can tax them at 99% and it still wouldn’t help your socialist schemes. You also think middle class landlords are leeches too, so your problem isn’t Elon Musk it’s envy and ignorance.

physical work hard is completely different than working hard mentally and the toll that travelling etc that most truly successful do to get to the top.  Musk being the #1 example of that IMO. .

It certainly is, when you're a chair polisher/ keyboard tapper the headaches and paper cuts eventually go away on there own, when one works a physical job it usually requires corrective surgery after all the years of abuse. We have diminished real work in this country.

Same with my daughter.  I’m just stressing to her the need to keep her head down, fly under the radar and get to her goals.  Don’t get sucked in to being some half-witted activist for anybody.

LMAO: wife's Kohl's card bill comes in the mail today.  We carry zero credit card debt at all times, but some people are paying this rate???  Idk, but we keep a lot of liquid reserves in several banks and are lucky to get close to 1percent return.

So, it's a fucking debters society and the lenders are pocketing 25% on idiots?

Clearly 'this' is a path to a prosperous society. USA USA USA.

LMAO, fucking morons.

IMG_20210830_203136525.jpg

They lure people in with their coupons that require shoppers to use their Kohl's card.  Their retail prices are so high most of their shoppers get the card to use the coupon to get a decent deal.  Then with the 3 times a year someone uses the card, the statement gets buried and they forget to pay the bill.  Boom, $40 late fee plus 25.99% interest on a $50 purchase.  Ask me how I know.  :flush:  Then they report a late payment to the credit bureaus.  The mortgage underwriters see that a year later and request a written explanation.  Against, ask me know I know.  :flush:

My wife and I both cancelled our cards.  I'd rather pay retail.

I don't want to tax them, that's some liberal bullshit. They just shouldn't exist, period.

You seem awfully focused on me personally. Why the obsession with what I do?

There is more than one way to incentivize innovation. Humankind is naturally curious, inventive, and industrious regardless of the economic system.

Just because someone comes up with a better way to do something, doesn't mean they should automatically then rule our society.

There is some unfairness here and there, and some people should get paid a little more, however, its a pretty good system. I always ask the complainers 'Whats your highest paying skill'? If your a custodian, its not going to be much. The problem is that kids don't want to work anymore, or know what a days work is. They want handout's because we got a generation of spoiled brats.

Boomers have been skewing the economy - jacking prices and profits while suppressing wages - with their monetary policy for 40 years.

You don't get to complain about "kids not wanting to work".

I know you all like to tell yourselves stories about how hard you work and all that, but I know quite a few guys who can work circles around every single partner and investor in our operation and everyone here. These guys are doing okay, but are by no means wealthy. Some are comfortable enough, and some aren't.

But you cling to that delusion as long as you can, I'm sure it makes you feel good.

This statement infers they work for you your partners or investors.....

You should really pay them a fair Wage....I mean really you are in a govt subsidized business and all. You should spread that wealth around.

No it doesn't imply that, but I can see why you want to cling to this delusion.

"If communism is so good, why doesn't a capitalist enterprise bring about communism all by themselves???"

"If you think a better system is possible, why don't you live like it already exists? Sure, I tacitly know it's not that simple and it won't work, which is precisely why I'm suggesting it, but at least I can avoid any critical thought if I stick to this line!!!1!1!"

You're such a tool...you believe that you are such a intellectual talking about the social construct.  The truth is what you want is a fairy tale.  There is a reason why communist Russia and communist China essentially became dictatorships...that will always be the end result of you nonsense.

China is state capitalist, so was the USSR.

Just because their government claims to aspire to communism, doesn't mean they've achieved communism.

Communism is moneyless, stateless, and classless.
