Sec. Mayorkas says border crisis 'unsustainable' and 'we're going to lose' in leaked audio

I willing to bet every border city is now crime infested.

Other than bogus permit violations and shakedowns by the police, Baja isn’t too bad. I had to pay the cops a $200 fee for having what they consider bald tires on my bike. That was near Punta Prieta. A little north of Santa Domingo. Either I paid their ridiculous “fee” or they would confiscate my driver’s license.

The cartels hold on government and the citizens have increased. So has their profits and ability to move product. Two occurrences have happened in the last four years. China’s cooperation with cartel operations in providing chemical precursors for fentanyl production and the regular and steady production of fentanyl analogues. That has quadrupled profit margins. The couple I spoke about have to pay a monthly “protection fee” to cartel affiliates if they wish to continue to work at the Ford plant. A very common occurrence. As for the violence occurring near the border? Of course it does. That’s where the majority of the population and corporations are. The cartels and their affiliates own Mexico. They operate with impunity throughout the country. No one in Mexico is beyond their reach. To think otherwise is simply ridiculous.

Remember our news media lies to us. My last year in Guadalajara the Government made an aggressive push to eliminate the Jalisco Cartel, they formed a special forces to push them out of the area, 25 members were ambushed by the Cartel and slaughtered, in retaliation the special task force attacked the Cartel Farms and slaughtered hundreds of the Cartel, who then retaliated by burning busses blocking highways into Guadalajara and burning banks, with all the attacks no civilians were involved, infact they told everyone on the busses and in the banks to leave and no one was harmed, the Mexican Federal Government then flew in hundreds of soldiers and brought in many more truck loads of military personnel to finish the push to eliminate the Jalisco Cartel from Guadalajara and basically put them all in hiding. They did threaten to kill all US and Canadian citizens, but I missed that news blitz because I never got out of the plane till dark. (So I've seen just the opposite, the government is aggressively fighting the Cartels). The only consequence I dealt with was I wasn't allowed into the Bar I frequent that night because there were Cartel members there, they didn't even give me dirty looks. I've been told Nuevo León is the last state in Mexico where corruption is still an issue but they are trying to clean that up.

ActionfigureJuan. Got it.

Lets let in millions a year. Illegally From any country. That’s great.

Clowns 🤡

Most of the illegals are from countries other than Mexico, the question that needs to be asked is why they don't want asylum in Mexico, there are plenty of Jobs? The simple answer is handouts.

We had people in Iraq after the war putting in units and they had an armed escort as they moved from site to lodging. The only other places where armed escorts are standard procedure is Mexico city and Venezuela. Peru, Brazil and even Columbia have been fairly good for us.

Agreed the USA can either have a robust and free flowing immigration system..OR..a financial safety net that transfers wealth from the producing class to the recipient.

We can not have both and survive.

Like this successful police operation?

Why are the Mexicans fleeing their country? Main reason is violence. The violence is fed by drug trafficking. Who’s their main customer?

It’s the president of Mexico absolving the cartel of their sins……all the while violence in Mexico plummets.

Do you know how old that video is, and it's the reason he was voted out of office? El Chapo learned to control the Government, the Clintons and Obamas learned well from him.

The truth is liberals think fuck all of the Constitution...

On Friday evening, a federal district court in Texas handed the Biden Administration a huge defeat.  In so doing, the court also handed the people of the United States a huge victory.

Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk of the Northern District of Texas ruled in the case of Texas and Missouri v. Biden that the Biden Administration’s termination of the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) violated both the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), as well as federal immigration law requiring that certain illegal aliens be detained.

The MPP was one of the most successful elements of the Trump Administration’s immigration policies.  Under the MPP, illegal aliens arriving at the United States border and making claims of asylum were issued a notice to appear at a future immigration court hearing and were ordered to wait in Mexico until the time of the hearing.

As Judge Kacsmaryk noted, requiring such aliens to remain in Mexico was especially important, since 86 percent of the asylum claims between FY 2008 and FY 2019 were rejected.  If the illegal aliens making these bogus claims for asylum are allowed to enter the United States, many simply disappear into the fabric of country and never show up for their hearings.

In terminating MPP, the Biden Administration failed to explain why the program’s success should be ignored—especially when DHS had sung the praises of MPP before Biden took office.  As Judge Kacsmaryk pointed out, “DHS … found that MPP addressed the perverse incentives” created by allowing ‘those with non-meritorious claims … [to] remain in the country for lengthy periods of time.’”

Judge Kacsmaryk’s decision ordered the Department of Homeland Security to “enforce and implement MPP in good faith until such a time as it has been lawfully rescinded in compliance with the APA and until such a time as the federal government has sufficient detention capacity to detain all aliens subject to mandatory detention under Section [1225] without releasing any aliens because of a lack of detention resources.”

Judge Kacsmaryk’s decision is thorough and well written—making it likely to survive the inevitable appeal by the Biden Administration.  The judge gave DHS seven days to appeal to the Fifth Circuit before his decision takes effect.  But assuming that no emergency stay is granted by the court of appeals, the country may finally see some relief in the relentless immigration crisis at the border.

I don’t even know where to start with a dummy such as yourself. Firstly, that is the current president of Mexico in the video, Lopez Obrador. Secondly, that was the son of El Chapo that he ordered to be released. Thirdly, Obrador initially lied about ordering the release. He blamed it on local government. It wasn’t until actual proof surfaced that he ordered the release that he owned it. Lastly, that incident occurred during October 2019. I’m sure you’ll blame all those facts on distortion by the media.

I just heard the reference to El Chapo, I'm lacking the Google time you have based on the smoke conditions, I. did notice only 5 people were killed which in a Cartel battle would barely be news in Mexico. I also wonder if the guns used were still the weapons they received from Obama?

Wasn't that the reason for putting more restrictions on the border?

Given all your inside information on Mexico, I was beginning to think that you were the president’s personal friend.

None of the reasons stated, justify ILLEGAL ENTRY to the USA. NONE OF THEM. Doesn't matter the reason, THEY ARE INVADING OUR COUNTRY, and we don't need them!!!

They are all unfortunately, human RIFF-RAFF. Obese, impregnated mothers, in almost every case, will not be working in a hospital, helping your family member.  In most case these sows, will be draining our welfare system to the tune of BILLIONS of dollars.

Get this through your heads, ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HAS BEEN ALLOWED BY PEOPLE IN POWER IN AMERICA!! They want America diluted and destroyed.............and it's working.
