Not greg b
The sleds were so much cooler back then. Crappy to ride compared to today’s sleds but I think they were cooler
mnstang
The whole sport was cooler back then. That was the glory days. It's so serious now. 2

We still talk about his 98 to this day.
Mag6240
First sled I bought was a '92 500 SKS with the two up and back rest. Being 6' 5", that backrest in the forward position was a life saver for me. I could push back against it in the rough stuff to help prevent my back from being crunched. Next was a 1993 XCR 440 - that thing was a rocket on wooded trails! Still have one.... or two! But by no means am I riding that over the new stuff, no thanks! Yes 97/98 was considered the "Red Rockets" being 97 the rare sled even more so if it still had the original top end vs the 98 update kit. Even so the earlier red 440 XCR's hold a sweet spot. The prior desirable sled to them would be the 1991 GEO XC 400 which was a very limited build 440.

Deephaven
72 Arctic Cat Panther. First of many Cats. I've never purchased a brand new sled, but plenty of used ones.
